Dev Burns: I am an outspoken tabletop gamer and storyteller who likes to write, draw, and act. I have been running tabletop games for my friends and family for the last several years, and I have a profound fascination with DM Theory, the study of how to organize and perform a tabletop gaming session in the most fun and interesting manner.

I believe that the most important trait for a DM is caring about the players enjoyment of the game. I also believe that if you show respect and concern for your players, they will show the same for you. That mutual sense of empathy is what I'm calling DMpathy, and it's the core principle with which I run my games.

I have experience with running (and playing) Dungeons and Dragons (third and fourth editions), Dungeon World, various iterations of FATE, Mutants and Masterminds, Pathfinder, Edge of the Empire, Star Wars D20, Fiasco, Mouse Guard, Savage Worlds, Feng Shui 2, and more. I also have a four year degree in media studies and many more years of interest in movies, literature, comic books, and video games.
